Events in Beta

Place the Keycaps! is in beta, so official seasonal events may be limited or unannounced. This page tracks verified event windows: double spawn weekends, limited colorways, map decorations, and code drops tied to holidays or follower milestones from KEYBOARDS!!!!!

Roblox experiences often run first events after core loop stabilization. Expect early events to be lightweight — themed pile skins, gallery lighting changes, or bonus collection badges — rather than entirely new game modes unrelated to sorting.

We do not invent event calendars. Empty sections mean no confirmed schedule yet. Check back after Roblox update notifications on the game page.

Types of Events to Expect

Sorting challenges may ask players to clear X piles or complete a themed board within a weekend. Rewards could be exclusive keycaps listed later on the items page and ranked on the tier list.

Community milestone events trigger when the experience hits visit or favorite counts. Developers sometimes spawn rare piles or enable temporary code kiosks. Pair milestones with the codes page when live.

Collaboration events with other creators remain possible but unconfirmed. Skeptical verification prevents fake crossover announcements from scam groups.

How to Prepare for Limited Events

Learn core controls before event day — Q throw and CTRL unlock on PC from the controls guide. Event piles often assume competence and move faster than tutorial heaps.

Past and Upcoming — Wiki Log

No past events are archived yet because beta public events have not been verified at wiki time. Future entries will include dates, rewards, and whether codes expired on the expired codes page.

When the first event ends, we will note if progress persisted or reset — critical for collectors planning real-world schedules around Roblox logins.

Event Etiquette and Fair Play

Shared public servers get crowded during events. Be polite at assembly stations; griefing piles ruins cooperative sorting. Report exploiters who auto-sort via scripts — see scripts warning.

Do not trust third-party "event code" sites opened only during searches. Redeem via official UI described in how to redeem.

After events, return to standard grinding with beta tips until the next announcement drops.

Post-Event Cleanup

After events end, walk the map to confirm temporary piles despawned and standard heaps returned. Missed event caps sometimes linger one session in staging corners — grab screenshots before they vanish for wiki archives on the items page.

Move expired event codes mentally to the expired archive once redemption fails globally. Continuing to spam dead strings wastes session time better spent on normal collection goals.

Rest between intense event weekends. Burnout sorting leads to board errors that take longer to fix than the event rewards were worth.

Bookmark this page at the start of each month during beta so you never assume an inactive event is live because an outdated forum post said otherwise.

Developers sometimes extend events quietly for an extra day — if official channels hint at extensions, prioritize event piles before returning to standard collection grinding on the collection guide route.
